TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - According to Democratic Party Secretary General Hinca Pandjaitan, Democratic Party Chairman Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and Gerindra Chairman Prabowo Subianto has officially postponed their meeting that was initially scheduled to take place today.
“Yes, it has been postponed,” said Hinca Pandjaitan, though it was not mentioned when the meeting will be rescheduled. “We are looking for the perfect time for them to meet.”
Democratic politician Ferdinand Hutahean said that the meeting was postponed because of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s current health condition, who Ferdinand said is feeling unfit.
“It is postponed because SBY was recommended by his doctor to take a rest. He felt unwell after travelling from Java,” said Ferdinand.
Asked upon when the meeting will eventually take place, Ferdinand briefly said; “We’ll see, at least for the next two days.”
As reported earlier, Hinca said that Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono will hold a meeting with Gerindra Chairman Prabowo Subianto to discuss the 2019 presidential election. Hinca was quoted to have said, “[The meeting] will be full of surprises.”
