TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A divorce trial filed by Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok against his wife Veronica Tan has processed to the agenda of receiving additional evidence and hearings witnesses testimony. Ahok's lawyer Josefina Agatha Syukur said there were two witnesses to be presented today on Wednesday, February 28, at the North Jakarta District Court.
"There are two witnesses and still (our) relatives," Josefina told Tempo on Wednesday.

Although the judge requested Ahok's presence in his divorce trial with Veronica Tan, Ahok's younger sister Fifi Lety Indra said Ahok would not be present in today court. "(Ahok is) not coming," said Fifi as Ahok's attorney, via short message, Wednesday morning.
Fifi stated the today trial agenda will be collecting additional evidence and bringing witnesses from the plaintiff. Earlier, Josefina said she would present two witnesses, but did not specify their identity. "Our request is divorce and (children) custody," she added.

Veronica Tan was never present at the hearing trial yet she left a letter to Ahok's lawyer in which stated her absence.
Ahok filed a divorce to Veronica Tan due to the presence of another man in his marriage. In the previous trial, the Ahok party had submitted the evidence to the judges including CD containing data of birth certificate, conversation records, chatting records via WhatsApp application, and photo.
