Police Urge Jatibaru Street to be Opened, Sandiaga Uno Responses

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Deputy Governor Sandiaga Uno will consider the complaint from Tanah Abang residents who feel disturbed by the closing of Jatibaru Street.
According to Sandiaga Uno, the Jakarta Administration will discuss all aspirations received. “We will find a solution for everything,” he said.
The closing of Jatibaru Street was done by Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan to arrange Tanah Abang area.
Jakarta Traffic Police Commissioner Halim Pagarra stated the street closing actually adds congestion in Tanah Abang area.
The Jakarta Traffic Police urged the Governor to return the Jatibaru Street function for vehicles just like before and to involve the police to manage the traffic in Tanah Abang area.
