TEMPO.CO, Yogyakarta - Bank Indonesia (BI) stated that money circulation during International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank annual meeting scheduled to be held in Nusa Dua of Badung Regency, Bali on October 2018 is estimated to reach Rp 4 trillion.
“This will further boost Bali’s economy,” BI Bali office head Causa Iman said in Yogyakarta on Sunday (11/2).
He went on by saying that the large amount of circulation is pushed by the needs to facilitate the meeting including accommodation, food, transportation, telecommunication and other supporting facilities.
The high amount of circulation is possible considering that the annual meeting of IMF and World Bank will be attended by 15 thousand delegates from 189 countries.
For the world economic summit, a number of preparations are made including developing infrastructure project of underpass in I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, developing tourism port in Benoa, and expanding airplane apron.
