TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - National Armed Forces (TNI) commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto today held the handover ceremony of the new Air Force Chief of Staff (KSAU) Marshal Yuyu Sutisna.
The event held at the Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, January 19, after President Joko Widodo inaugurated Yuyu at the Presidential Palace two days ago.
Yuyu Sutisna, graduated from military academy in 1986, has served as the Indonesian Defense Attache in Washington D.C.
He has also served as a fighter pilot with 2000 flying hours. Yuyu has flown fighter jet F-5E/ F Tiger II of Air Squadron 14 Wing 3 of Iswahyudi Airbase, Madiun, East Java.
Yuyu Sutisna was previously posted as the Air Force deputy chief of staff since 2016.
The handover ceremony was attended by Army and Navy Chief of Staff Adm. Ade Supandi, Deputy Police Chief Comr. Gen. Syafruddin, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Wiranto, as well as the House's members of Defense Commission.
