According to Zainuddin, Chief of Police Gen. Tito Karnavian will attend the meeting along with Home Affairs Minister Tjahjo Kumolo and Attorney General Muhammad Prasetyo.
Some important issues to be discussed in DPR meeting, he said, include money politics, SARA (ethnic, religious, racial and inter-group relations) issues, and the involvement of law enforcers in the elections.
According to Zainudin, there are possibilities that law enforcement officers running in the elections will be used as pawns to beat the opponents of other candidates.
Other institutions that will also attend the meeting are the Election Commission (KPU) and the Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu).
