Nasdem Confirms Support for Jokow in 2019 Presidential Election

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The National Democrat (Nasdem) Party chairman Surya Paloh said that the party will confirm support for Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in the 2019 presidential election during the national meeting (rakernas) scheduled for November 15.

“It will involve party officials at sub-district level and be attended by 15,000 participants. The national meeting will be the biggest yet in 50 years of my career in political parties,” Surya Paloh said today, Nov. 14, in Jakarta.

The chairman said that he would be grateful to all parties involved if the meeting is held successfully.

The National Democrat Party national meeting will be held in JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, on November 15-17.
