TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Police have named seven suspects out of twelve individuals detained after hundreds of people surrounded the Indonesian Legal Aid Institute Foundation (YLBHI) office on Sunday, September 17.

According to Argo, the suspects will be charged with violations of Articles 216 and 218 of the Criminal Code.
Argo further explained that the suspects are not affiliated with any mass organizations, as they possess no organizational membership cards. Some of them are drivers, employees, and unemployed people.
The suspects rallied to the LBH office to protest an event held by the YLBHI, which they thought was related to the Indonesian Communist Party (PKI). The blockade sparked a clash between protesters and police personnel.
