The agreement is a follow up to the signing of a previous PPA for new renewable energy power plants in August. At the time, PLN signed a PPA with 53 private companies to supply power plants with a total capacity of 257.17 MW.
With the agreement, PLN's power capacity from new renewable energy sources will reach 548.57 MW, excluding the capacity of its geothermal power plants.
"If we add those, the total capacity is around 1,000 MW," he said.
PLN is targeting to generate 1,300-MW capacity from its clean energy power plants by the end of this year.
