Two options for GrabCar and Uber.

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Transportation Ministry will reprimand online taxi companies that have not followed regulations on the lower and upper rates, which took effect on July 1st.

The ministry's director general for land transportation Pudji Hartanto said the rule is final and there will be no more revision, so all companies must adhere to it.

Based on Tempo's research, as per July 3 Go-Car's tariff per kilometer is Rp2,976, while GrabCar's is Rp2,931 per kilometer and Uber charges Rp2,600 per kilometer.
