Bali - bound Flights Diverted to Juanda Airport in Surabaya

TEMPO.CO, Sidoarjo - Some flights heading to Nugrah Rai International Airport in Bali will be diverted to Juanda International Airport in Surabaya, East Java, due to bad weather in Bali.
“Such as Lion [Air] from Solo, Air Asia from Jakarta, Lion from Ujung Pandang, Qatar [Air] from Doha and also Garuda from Bandung and Jakarta, [the flights] have to be diverted to Juanda,” he said.

Angkasa Pura I, the operator of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, has earlier said that 20 flights in the airport have been affected by bad weather and limited visibility.
“There are 13 planes unable to take-off and seven planes unable to land,” Angkasa Pura I spokesman Arie Ahsanurrohim said today in Denpasar.
The flight schedules include both domestic and international routes.
