TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Fans of the extremely popular candy-matching smartphone game Candy Crush would definitely crave for Moschino’s swimwear, backpack, and iPhone case emblazoned with colorful pieces from the game.
The Candy Crush-themed capsule collection was launched at the 2017 Coachella Festival. “The only thing that I love more than playing the game is wearing it,” Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott said as quoted by Daily Mail on Friday, April 14, 2017.
The collection is only available for a limited time at Moschino.com. The priciest item, a backpack, is available for US$650. There is also a woman’s one-piece swimsuit and men’s swimming trunks available for for US$300 and US$205, respectively. The cheapest item is an iPhone case that goes for US$70.
“Moschino and Jeremy Scott are known for their larger-than-life creations and bringing popular culture to the runway, so it’s the perfect partnership as we prepare to mark the five-year anniversary of Candy Crush Saga,” Sebastian Knuttson, Chief Creative Officer of King, the company behind the Candy Crush game, said.
Candy Crush was launched back in 2012. The game was played 198 billion times throughout 2016. meaning that each person in the world played the games 28 times the whole year.
