TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Construction company PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk., pays out Rp317 billion in dividends to its shareholders
The decision to pay out dividends was made at the annual general meeting of shareholders (AGM) held at the company’s office on Tuesday, March 14, 2017.
The payment was the first after the company held an initial public offering (IPO) in 2016.
Waskita Beton president director Jarot Subana, said that the dividends paid out make out 50 percent of the company's net income of Rp 634.81 billion.
"The target of net income this year is Rp1.1 trillion," Jarot said.
In addition to the dividend payment, the AGM also decided the use of 5 percent of current year earnings amounting to Rp 31.7 billion as cash reserves and 45% of current year earnings totaling Rp 285.66 billion as retained earnings.
