Hamdan said after the meeting he would help the MK chairman carry out his duties. “In proper ways that the deputy should help the chairman in executing the judicial duties,” Hamdan said.
Hamdan will replace MK deputy chairman Achmad Sodiki, who will retire in November 2013. Hamdan will be installed as the MK deputy chairman on Wednesday, August 21, 2013.
