TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Police Traffic Directorate deployed 400 officers of its road escort and patrol (Patwal) unit to secure the homecoming of 2018 Asian Games athletes to their nations. 

Jakarta Police Traffic director Sr. Comr. Yusuf said there was no traffic engineering for the athletes' buses.

“There is no traffic engineering. The route is the same as during the simulation,” Yusuf said on Monday, September 3.

According to Yusuf, the buses from the Athletes Vilage in Kemayoran to Soekarno-Hatta Airport will pass the toll road. Yusuf said the homecoming of the 2018 Asian Games athletes had begun since a few days ago.
