TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - House speaker-cum-Golkar party politician Bambang Soesatyo has balked at guessing who is going to be President Jokowi's running mate in the 2019 presidential election.
“Only God and Pak Jokowi knows,” said Bambang whimsically today at the parliamentary complex.
Jokowi said he had pocketed the name of his running mate in the 2019 presidential election. "I already have [the name], just need to announce it," the president said on Saturday, July 7.

Jokowi, however, was non-committal on his choice and instead said he would announce the name at the right moment. “Please be patient, it’s only a few days away,” said Jokowi.
Earlier, United Development Party (PPP) chairman Romahurmuziy mentioned the names of Jokowi’s possible running mates had been reduced to ten. According to Rommy—his popular name—the president and the government's coalition parties will discuss the names before July 15.
