TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Transportation Ministry has provided 4,000 coupons of Soekarno-Hatta Airport train tickets with the price at Rp3,000 for the electric trains (KRL) passengers.

The Ministry's Railway Traffic Director Zulmafendi explained the program is carried out after the talks with the Railway Directorate, state railway company KAI, KRL company Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KCI), Airport train operator Railink, and several passenger communities on April 6.

“The program is one of the governments' efforts to handle the operational issue in Batu Ceper-Duri route. We fully expected this program will attract passengers in using airport trains,” said Zulamfendi in a written statement received by Tempo Tuesday, April 17.
