Bribe Suspect Nyono to Resign as Jombang Regent and Golkar Cadre

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jombang Regent Nyono Suharli Wihandoko is ready to resign as a regent and a cadre of Golkar Party. It was submitted after he was appointed as a suspect of bribery recipient by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
Nyono was officially appointed as a suspect with allegations of bribery related to licensing and placement of position in Jombang Administration.
KPK also assigned the Acting Head of Jombang Health Service, Inna Silestyowati. She allegedly gave money to Nyono for herself to be the Head of Jombang Health Service definitively.
Inna has collected Rp434 million through the capitation fund from 34 Health Center (Puskesmas) in Jombang.
The money was divided by one percent for all Puskemas in Jombang, one percent for the Head of Health Service and five percent for the Regent.
KPK also suspected that Inna has assisted the issuance of an operational license for a private hospital in Jombang and she asked for illegal levies.
