TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta local officials will mobilize authority personnel in securing a number of urban tourist destinations during the 2017 Eid al Fitr holidays. The mobilization is commenced considering that 40 percent of Jakarta citizens will not be participating in the annual tradition of homecoming, or locally known as mudik.
“Several tourist destinations that attract large crowds will be prioritized,” said regional secretary of Jakarta Saefullah today. Such destinations include Ancol, National Monument or Monas, Kota Tua, Ragunan Zoo, and Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII).
