
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-Indosat Ooredoo has officially released 4Gplus service throughout Indonesia. The service is available in 35 cities in the country starting November 30, 2015.
“The service is available for no extra charges,” Ooredoo CEO Indosat Alexander Rusli said during the 4Gplus launch at Kempinski Hotel in Jakarta on Monday, November 30.
Alexlander claims that 4Gplus has a high speed and huge bandwith advantage, as well as its service range which can be accessed by anyone in Indonesia.
Alex said the 4Gplus is available for the same price like its previous 3G service and believes that Indosat Ooredoo will provide its best experience via 4Gplus. Alex mentioned that 4Gplus offers a download speed of up to 185Mps, based on an independent test.
For the past two years, Alex mentioned that Indosat Ooredoo has invest for network modernization. The modernization has been done by doubling its data network speed and presents a faster 3G internet service.
Indosat Ooredoo has activated 4Gplus for personal and business customers. Currently, Indosat Ooredodo is available in 21 cities throughout Indonesia and will be followed by 14 others by the end of 2015.
