TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-The government’s plan to reduce fuel price is followed by the scarcity of Premium fuel in the district of Bangkalan, East Java. According to Tempo’s observation, three gas stations from Burneh to Blega district are out of gas on Sunday night, October 4.
“Shipments from Pertamina is late,” said Fauzan, an employee of Patemon gas station.
Muhammad, an employee of Blega gas station said that premium fuel shipment is not late but halted. “Late means two hours or one day. It has been more than two weeks [with no fuel],” he said.
Although premium fuel is out, gas stations in the area of Bangkalan continue to operate. Residents are forced to purchase Pertamax and Pertalite fuel. “This is the first time I use Pertalite,” said Faiqurrahman, one of the customer of Blega gas station.
