TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) in Budapest cooperated with the Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) to held the Trade Expo Indonesia 2015 in Hungary. One of the event's egenda was the Business Forum and Matchmaking held at the Novotel Hotel in Budapets Centrum, Hungary, which scheduled to be attended by dozens of businesses.
The business forum event is important because it could serve as a method to disseminate information on investments to Hungarian businesses. The event will also help to connect businesses from both countries. "The Business Forum and Matchmaking must be able to increase investment value of both countries, transaction volume and trade balance," said Hikmat Rijadi, Chief of Budapest ITPC in a press release issued by the Trade Ministry dated September 23, 2015. Hikmat said that several Indonesian businesses have intensely met with Hungarian businesses to establish cooperation.
In addition to the business forum, Indonesian businesses will also be taken to visit several Hungarian companies that have invested in Indonesia, including Diagon, Greensolar, and Mocca Negra Zrt, as part of the event. "These kind of visits could help Indonesian businesses to expand their knowledge and perspective in developing their business in Indonesia," Hikmat said.
Director of Business Empomwerment at BKPM Pratito Soeharyo said that Hungarian businesses have high enthusiasm in investing in Indonesia. "They are actively searching for information on the one stop integrated investment services," Pratito said.
