Minister Gobel to Conduct Follow Up Visit to London

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Trade Minister Rachmat Gobel has planned to visit the United Kingdom next month, to follow up British Prime Minister David Cameron's official visit to Indonesia last week.
"The Trade Minister will fly to London to follow up David Cameron's visit," Ari Satria, director of market development and export information at the Trade Ministry, said on Monday, August 5, 2015.
Ari added that he could not reveal the cooperation to be discussed by the two countries.
Earlier, David Cameron conducted four-day official visit in Indonesia with representatives from 30 major companies, including Rolls-Royce engine producer and construction equipment producer JCB.
During his visit in Indonesia, Cameron met President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo to discuss four agreements related to ties in the maritime sector, counter terrorism and international crime, research and innovation and collaboration in civil space entities.
The meeting also discussed Indonesia's request for visa exemptions for Indonesian tourists and diplomats visiting Britain.
