Jokowi Urges Singaporean Businesses to Invest in indonesia

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - On his second day of official visit in Singapore, President Joko Widodo took part in a business dialogue attended by more than 200 renowned Singaporean CEOs and entrepreneurs.
President Jokowi said that now is the time for Singaporean entrepreneurs to invest in Indonesia.
In his keynote speech, President Jokowi emphasized that Indonesia is currently undergoing a fundamental reform process to strengthen the national economy by performing various steps to create a conducive investment climate by improving regulations, simplifying investment licensing processes and improving security and political stability.
"Don't wait until everything is finished, now is your time to invest," Jokowi said in Singapore on Wednesday, July 29, 2015.
President Jokowi also signed three Memorandum of Understanding, including on Cooperation in the field of Youth and Sports, Cooperation on E-Government and an MoU on the Cooperation of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Singapore Business Federation.
