TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Red Orbit recently reported that Google has updated its Gmail message feature. The update covers document attachment on Google Drive, allowing users to store data without having to download the document. The update, first implemented on Tuesday, November 12, helps to store documents, images, videos, and PDFs sent or received into Google Drive.
In order to integrate attachments, users only need to click the Drive button above the attachment. Users can then move the chosen files to Drive, without having to close the Gmail window.
The update also features full-screen views, allowing users to easily locate a particular phrase in a document.
"If you're one of the more than 120 million active Drive users, you know that saving your files to Drive enables you to access it from any computer, phone or tablet," said Scott Johnston, Director of Product Management at Google.
