TEMPO.CO, Kupang - Consulado Timor Leste Feliciano da Costa stated that there will be no further disscussion regarding the border issue between Indonesia and Timor Leste in Nelu Village, Northern Central Timor (TTU), Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT).
"It has been agreed that the area belongs to Timor Leste," he told Tempo on Monday, October 21.
Feliciano mentioned that Nelu Village's border issue had been discussed by both countries in 2009. Moreover, he stated that a border line has been established and "diplomatically there is no problem."
Previously, residents of Nelu Village, located in the Indonesian territory and residents of Kosta Village, located in the Timor Leste territory, were involved in a clash over borders issues.
