TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - In a dramatic win over the world's former number one golfer Ernie Els, Austrian golfer Bernd Klaus Wiesberger won the 2013 Indonesian Masters Golf Tournament 2013, Sunday, May 5. Wiesberger scored a total of 15-under-par 273 at the Royale Jakarta Golf Club.
Ernie Els comes in second place with a score of 14 under par, followed with Daisuke Kataoka with 275 strokes or 13 under par. Last year's runner-up Thongchai Jaidee from Thailand came in fourth position with 10 under par.
"I'm in good shape," Wiesberger told reporters after receiving the Garuda Cup and the US$135,000 prize money.
Wiesberger's winning momentum happened on hole-12. The 27-year-old golfer made a perfect nine-meter put to score an eagle that sent him to the top of the score sheet.
