From green city parks to ecotourism areas such as mangrove forests and Thousand Islands, here is a list of natural tourist attractions in Jakarta that are worth visiting.

1. Suropati Park

Located in the Menteng area, Suropati Park is one of the oldest city parks in Jakarta. With shady trees and a fountain in the middle, it is an ideal park to relax and enjoy the natural atmosphere in the middle of the city. 

Many Jakartans come to Taman Suropati to jog, bike, or just sit and enjoy the fresh air.

2. Situ Lembang Park

Still located in the Menteng area, Situ Lembang Park offers a more serene atmosphere with the artificial lake in the middle of the park. 

You can enjoy the view of the lake from the park benches or take a walk around the lake. This is also the favorite park for fishermen as the lake is home to various species of fish.

3. Tebet Eco Park 

Tebet City Park or known as Tebet Eco Park is one of the biggest parks in South Jakarta. 

The park offers many interesting zones such as a playground, jogging track, and reflection park. With shady trees and various recreational facilities, Taman Kota Tebet City Park has become a favorite place for people to exercise or relax.

4. Setu Babakan 

Setu Babakan is located in South Jakarta and is known as the cultural center of Betawi. It also offers beautiful scenery with a wide lake. 

Visitors can enjoy water activities such as duck boat rides and fishing, or just walk along the lake and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere.

5. Cattleya City Park

Located at Jalan Letjen S. Parman, Kemanggisan, West Jakarta, Cattleya Park is one of the city parks that offers a green atmosphere in the middle of the city. 

The park has several facilities such as a playground, jogging track, and artificial lake. It is the right place to relax and enjoy the fresh air amidst the busy city life.

6. Mangrove Forest of Pantai Indah Kapuk

Mangrove Forest in Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) is one of the interesting eco-tourism destinations in Jakarta. 

It offers a view of the green and lush mangrove forest. Visitors can explore the mangrove forest by walking on the provided wooden bridge or renting a boat to explore this area. 

Apart from enjoying the natural beauty, visitors can also learn about the importance of mangrove forests for the ecosystem.

7. Angke Kapuk Nature Tourism Park

Located in Penjaringan, North Jakarta, Angke Kapuk Nature Tourism Park is another place that offers an ecotourism experience. 

This park is a mangrove conservation area that provides various facilities such as trekking trails, canoes, and bird-watching towers. This place is suitable for families who want to enjoy time together while learning about the mangrove ecosystem.

8. Waduk Pluit Park

Waduk Pluit Park or Pluit Reservoir Park is the result of the revitalization of the Pluit Reservoir, which is now a beautiful green open space in North Jakarta. 

This park has a jogging track, picnic area, and children's playground. The expansive view of the reservoir with a backdrop of tall buildings gives it a unique feel.

9. Thousand Islands

Thousand Islands or Seribu Islands is a natural destination in Jakarta that you should never miss. You can enjoy the beauty of the sea without leaving the city. Seribu Islands offer various activities such as snorkeling and diving.
