TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that approximately Rp400 billion was lost by the state in the land acquisition project in Rorotan, North Jakarta, for the provincial government's Zero Rupiah Down Payment Program. The land acquisition was carried out by the regional company (BUMD) Sarana Jaya.
KPK acting director of investigation Asep Guntur Rahayu said the anti-graft agency had conducted an investigation to find evidence of criminal acts of corruption. "The procurement in Rorotan, (the estimated loss) is about Rp400 billion," Asep said at the KPK's Red and White Building in South Jakarta on Tuesday, June 25.

As part of the investigation, the KPK questioned kart racer Zahir Ali (ZA) on Wednesday last week. Investigators asked him what he knew about the land acquisition in Rorotan, as well as the role of his position in the suspected company. Asep said he could not yet release details of Zahir Ali's examination material.
On June 12, the KPK proposed a travel ban for 10 people suspected of involvement in alleged corruption in the acquisition of land in Rorotan for the Zero Downpayment Housing Program. This was based on the development of an investigation into the land acquisition corruption case in Pulogebang.
In this case, the KPK has named three suspects, namely the former chief of PD Sarana Jaya Yoory Corneles Pinontoan, the director of PT Adonara Propertindo Tomny Adrian, and the director of PT Aldira Berkah Rudy Hartono Iskandar.
