The first 12 hour period is designated as AM, namely from midnight to noon. For example, if 10 am is used in AM format, then it is written as 10:00 AM (because it falls within the 00:00-11:59 range).

Meanwhile, the 12 hour period after that is applied as PM, namely the period from noon to midnight. An example of use, for example at 2 pm, is written in the format 02:00 PM (entered in the range 12:00-23:59).

- At 12:00 a.m. means 12 midnight or 00:00 in 24 hour format.

- At 01:00 a.m. means 1 in the morning or 01:00 in 24 hour format.

- At 09:00 a.m. shows 9 am or 10:00 am in 24 hour format.

- At 11:59 a.m. It shows 59 minutes past 11 noon or 11:59.

- 12:00 p.m shows 12 noon or 12:00 in 24 hour format.

- At 03:00 p.m. shows 3 pm or 15:00 in 24 hour format.

- 05:00. p.m. shows 5 pm or 17:00 in 24 hour format.

- 07:00 p.m shows 7 pm or 19:00 in 24 hour format.

- At 11:59 p.m. shows 59 minutes past 11 pm or 23:59.

By understanding the example above, it will be easier to differentiate between AM and PM as time indications for the 12-hour format. This time format is widely used in several countries such as Europe and America. and also the Philippines.
