Bawaslu to Submit Election Dispute Conclusion to Constitutional Court This Afternoon

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The General Elections Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) will submit its conclusion for the 2024 presidential election dispute trial to the Constitutional Court (MK) this afternoon.
"If God is willing, (the conclusion) will be submitted at around 04:00 p.m. at the latest,” Bawaslu member Totok Hariyono told Tempo on Tuesday.
In essence, he said, the conclusion stated that Bawaslu carried out its duties in accordance with laws and regulations.
Previously, Constitutional Court judges had set April 16, 2024, as the day for disputing parties to the election dispute to submit their conclusions.
In addition to Bawaslu, several parties have confirmed that they will submit conclusions. Among them are the two applicants, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md.
Ganjar-Mahfud, represented by their attorney, was scheduled to submit the conclusion at 10:00 a.m. while Anies-Muhaimin will submit theirs this afternoon, represented by a legal team.
On the other hand, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, represented by their legal team, will also submit their conclusions. The Prabowo-Gibran Defense Team is slated to submit theirs this afternoon at around 01:00-02:00 p.m.
Previously, the General Elections Commission or KPU as the respondent had also confirmed that it would submit conclusions but did not provide the exact time.
