PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry recorded that 241,057 people crossed from Ketapang Ferry Port in Banyuwangi to Gilimanuk Ferry Port in Bali during the Christmas and New Year holidays since Monday, Dec. 18, 2023.
Corporate Secretary of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry Shelvy Arifin said that the peak of year-end holiday ferry departure occurred on Dec. 23 or D-2 of Christmas, reaching 43,467 people.
2. Puncak Records 40,000 Vehicles Passing By on Last Day of Christmas Holiday
The last day of the Christmas holiday recorded around 20,000 vehicles exiting the Puncak route, Bogor Regency. The head of the traffic unit at the Bogor Resort police Police Commissioner Adjutant Rizky Guntama said that police have implemented traffic diversion to control the volume of vehicles.
"Current data showed that around 20,000 vehicles entered the [Puncak route] while 20,000 exited the route. The total of vehicles passing by Puncak is around 40,000," Rizky told Antara on Tuesday, Dec. 26.
