TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Solo Mayor, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, confirmed that the Liga 1 football match of Persis Solo versus Arema FC on Sunday, July 30, would not be held at Manahan Solo Stadium, as previously planned. The schedule clashed with Dewa 19 music concert at the same location on Saturday, July 29.
The 2023-2024 Liga 1 match would use Manahan Solo Stadium for official training on that Saturday, so the match between the two clubs would be moved to another location.
"It's been confirmed. The officials have contacted me as well. I'm sorry that Liga 1 match cannot be held at Manahan Solo Stadium," said Gibran to journalists at Solo City Hall after meeting with Dewa 19 personnel and the concert organizer, Redline Kreasindo, on Monday, July 17.
Gibran said that Liga 1 football match would likely be held at Sriwedari Solo Stadium. The game would also possibly be held without spectators.
Meanwhile, the promoter of Dewa 19 Featuring All Stars Stadium Tour 2023 concert explained that the concert schedule had already been decided before the announcement of the Liga 1 schedule, which was also agreed by Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
