20,000 Indonesia-Argentina Matchday Tickets Sold Out on First Day

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) chairperson Erick Thohir announced that the allocated 20,000 tickets for the FIFA Matchday between the national teams of Indonesia and Argentina were sold out within nine minutes on Monday. 

Fortunately, Erick said there are 40,000 tickets that will be sold today Tuesday and Wednesday (June 6-7).

“Thank God we saw 20,000 tickets sold out in nine minutes today. There will be 20,000 more tickets available [on Tuesday] and another 20,000 offered on Wednesday,” said Erick Thohir in a press conference held at the Presidential Palace on Monday.

He elaborated that the PSSI only offers a 60,000 public tickets quota while the rest are allocated for sponsors from private companies, tv stations, and SOEs. 

In this Indonesia against Argentina national football team friendly match, Erick said income from sponsors was dominated by the private sector than the SOEs. 

Tickets for the friendly match can be accessed through the official partner ticket.com in collaboration with the PSSI as the organizer of the match.

Match tickets can be purchased on the tiket.com platform starting June 5 (starting at 12 noon WIB) specifically for BRI card holders, and on 6 and 7 June (starting at 12 noon WIB) will be open to the public using all payment methods.

- West and East VIP: Rp 4.250.000 (US$286)

- Category 1: Rp 2.500.000 (US$168)

- Category 2: Rp 1.200.000 (US$80)

- Category 3: Rp 600.000 (US$40)
