Magnitude 5 Earthquake Hits Bali's South Kuta

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), in the early morning of Thursday (02:57 WIB), reported a magnitude 5.0 earthquake had struck the southwest region of South Kuta in Bali.
The agency spotted the epicenter of the quake originated 98 kilometers southwest of South Kuta at the specific coordinates of 9.63 south latitudes and 114.92 east longitudes.
The quake’s hypocenter came from 10 kilometers deep but fortunately has not triggered a tsunami warning, locals are called to remain vigilant and look out for possible aftershocks.
