TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Data provided by the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), and Investment Ministry, showed that the investment realization in the West Java province for the first quarter of 2023 is the highest on a national scale, amounting to a total of Rp50 trillion.
The province is followed subsequently by Jakarta, East Java, Central Sulawesi, and Banten, according to state news agency Antara reported.

Nining explained thatin an effort to achieve the target, West Java will rely on five major investment regions, namely Bekasi City and Bekasi Regency; Bogor Regency; Karawang Regency; and Purwakarta Regency. The largest target however, is being given to Bekasi Regency with Rp50 trillion, followed by Karawang Regency at Rp40 trillion.
“These five regions are hoped to meet their targets,” said Nining.
