TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) of the Jakarta Provincial Legislative Council, Idris Ahmad, demands that the Jakarta Government provide clarification on the accountability for the implementation of Formula E.
It was conveyed by Idris at the Plenary Meeting of the Jakarta Provincial Legislative Council upon discussing the general views of the political factions on the Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda), concerning the Provincial Budget for the 2023 fiscal year.
Idris said, that PSI understands that the issue of Formula E is not the responsibility of Jakarta Acting Governor Heru Budi Hartono, but it needs to be conveyed because there are still 2 more years to implement Formula E that must be carried out by Jakarta and there has been 560 billion of money paid as a commitment fee.
"We (PSI) request for accountability so that policies can be taken as to what is the next step for this activity," said Idris at the plenary meeting of the Jakarta Provincial Legislative Council, Wednesday, November 9, 2022.
Heru Budi Hartono Hands Over Formule E Matters to Jakpro
Heru Budi Hartono handed over all Formula E decisions to Jakpro. This was in response to the statement from the Jakarta Provincial Legislative Council of the Indonesian Solidarity Party, which demanded that Formula E be held accountable.
"Regarding Formula E, please go to Jakpro and ask them," Said Heru Budi when met in front of the Plenary Meeting Room, Jakarta Provincial Legislative Council building, Wednesday, November 9, 2022.
Concerning the implementation of Formula E 2023, Heru would not intervene due to it becoming a part of B2B (Business To Business) between Jakpro and Ancol.
"It is already a B2B, go ahead and ask them if Jakpro and Ancol undertake it, please," He said.
