TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - US-based tech giant Meta holds Creator Week 2022 in Badung Regency, Bali, by gathering more than 120 creators from 13 Asia-Pacific countries. At the event, creators can exchange experiences and learn about best practices for creating inspiring content across the Meta platform, Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
“Creator Week 2022 is a celebration event for creators from across the Asia Pacific who inspires a new movement in producing creative online content,” said Director of Creator Partnerships for Meta in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, Revie Sylviana, in Badung, Tuesday, November 1, 2022.
She explained that the event presented inspirational programs to help creators develop careers, connect with colleagues, and build a shared future. “This celebration is a form of our commitment to support the journey of creators in building their existence and success in the digital space,” she said.
Revie added that Meta continues to help creators more easily express creative and fresh ideas through the latest features provided on various lines of its platform.

In the third quarter of this year, Meta announced that there are now more than 140 billion Reels played daily on Facebook and Instagram. Reels, she went on, has an annual revenue rate of US$3 billion from both apps.
“This proves that Reels is one of the key elements for Meta. As a series of Creator Week 2022 activities, we are also announcing new ways for creators to generate revenue via Facebook and Instagram,” Revie concluded.
