Anies Baswedan Launches Apartments with Zero Down Payment in Cilangkap, Pondok Kelapa

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan today launched high-rise residential buildings with Rp0 down payment in Cilangkap and Pondok Kelapa, East Jakarta. Named 'Jakhabitat', the buildings house 1,348 units of studio and two-bedroom apartments.

The launching ceremony was held at the Kanaya Tower Apartment in Cilangkap, Cipayung District this morning, September 8. The tower has 868 units.

Meanwhile, the Swasana Tower in Pondok Kelapa, Duren Sawit, has 480 units.

The two residential towers with zero down payment were constructed by Jakarta's regional-owned enterprise, Perumda Sarana Jaya. Sarana Jaya president director Agus Himawan said that the residential block in Cilangkap will have four towers—including Kanaya—with a total land area of 2.9 hectares.

The apartment complex has numerous essential public facilities for its tenants including a health center, kindergarten, a playground, as well as shops, and kiosks.
