TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The integrated tariff for public transportation modes in Jakarta is officially implemented last Thursday, August 11, 2022. The tariff rate of Rp10,000 applies for Transjakarta buses, MRT trains, and LRT trains. The rate is also valid for a 180-minute or 3-hour trip.
However, people using one of these transportation modes are only charged the normal fare. If a person takes, for example, Transjakarta and MRT, he will be charged an integrated tariff, which is more affordable than the normal fare.
According to the city’s press release on Thursday, August 11, passengers willing to get the integrated tariff must order tickets via JakLingko mobile app. The tariff is calculated based on the distance with the initial cost of Rp2,500 and then Rp250 per kilometer is charged with a fare ceiling of Rp10,000.
