TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The West Jakarta Administrative City Government will hold a job fair inviting 40 companies in July. Fifty booths will be prepared at the fair.

"Ten booths will be for MSMEs and the rest for corporations," Yasil Warabu, head of training, placement, productivity and transmigration at the West Jakarta Manpower and Energy Office, said on Thursday, June 23.

The companies mostly have offices located in West Jakarta and its surroundings. The types of business range, from retail to other fields. "Any company [is allowed], no specialization," Yasil said.

So far, the Manpower and Energy Office has not determined the dates, location, and registration procedures for the job fair. "We will make the preparations first, and then we will disseminate the information," Yasil added.

The fair targets job seekers who have graduated high school or have earned a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Similar activities will also be held in all areas of Jakarta in July, September, or early December 2022.
