Indonesia Property Expo 2022 to Showcase Affordable Property

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN), in cooperation with PT Adhouse Clarion Events and with the support of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, Ministry of Public Works and Housing, and Indonesia Real Estate (Real Estate Indonesia - REI) will be holding the 39th Indonesia Property Expo (IPEX) starting from May 14 to May 22, 2022, at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).

The exhibition is projected to increase the interest and enthusiasm of property buyers, especially first home buyers, in accordance with increasing market demand. Millennials may take this event as an opportunity to browse for affordable property.

As many as 60 developers is said to take part in the event, which will display some 650 properties with prices ranging from IDR 168 million and 15 to 30 years mortgage term.

Vice President of PT Adhouse Clarion Event Gad Permata, said that the general people's enthusiasm for property is on the rise. "This year's Indonesia Property Expo [is held] to accommodate the high demand of people looking for a house to live in, or to invest," Gad explained on Thursday, March 5, 2022.

According to Gad, the exhibition is a perfect opportunity for millennials to find the house of their dream.

"Plenty of promos and attractive discounts and convenience in banking services," Gad said. Gad added that 2022 is the perfect year to begin investing in the property sector because of many factors.

During the exhibition, BTN will offer a 2.22 percent interest promotion through their Housing Loan program.

President Director of BTN Haru Koesmahargyo said that 2022 is a good year to buy new properties because BN will offer low interest rates and affordable down payments following the relaxation of loan to value regulation.

"Moreover, strategic residential areas especially in Jabodetabek had been supported by transportation infrastructures such as LRT, MRT," haru said.

Through the event, BTN hoped to target IDR 3 trillion of closing value and IDR 1 trillion booked value.
