TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) in its latest weather forecast warned Jakarta residents that the capital city would likely be hit with strong winds as happened on Tuesday, which caused numerous trees to fall but fortunately did not cause casualties.
The agency’s website reports that the weather forecast for Wednesday is likely for thunderstorms and extremely strong winds over South Jakarta and East Jakarta in the afternoon.
The South and East Jakarta areas will likely be the only areas showered by light rain in the morning and overcast in the afternoon and evening.
Temperatures in the city are forecasted to stay within 25-31 degrees celsius with 70-95 percent humidity.
Satellite cities such as Bekasi, Bogor, and Depok will likely be overcast and light showers from the morning and last until noon.
