Jokowi Watches Papua Paralympic Games before Officially Close the Event

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) watched a number of competitions before officially close the 16th Papua National Paralympic Games (Peparnas) at Mandala Stadion, local time tonight. He watched badminton and judo competitions.
He watched three Badminton games in Cenderawasih Stadium. The president was accompanied by Youth and Sports Minister Zainudin Amali, the Chief of National Paralympic Committee (NPC) of Indonesia Senny Marbun, and other stakeholders.
The spectators cheered by Jokowi's attendance at Cenderawasih Stadium.
He seemed enthusiastic when watching the badminton games in the Peparnas Papua. The president even clapped his hands when an athlete shot their smashes and scored. Jokowi was also seen to had a little chit-chat with Amali and Senny Marbun.
The badminton finals watched by Widodo include SU5 men's single and SU6 men's single.
Besides the badminton, Jokowi also watched the final of judo comptition in Trikora Stadium, Jayapura City, Papua.
