Covid-19 Daily Update: 633 New Cases Recorded

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - According to the latest government data, there were 633 new confirmed Covid-19 infections recorded as of Thursday noon, October 21, 2021.

The new confirmed cases add Indonesia's total of Covid-19 infections to 4,237,834 cases since the first confirmed case was announced back on March 2, 2020.

On a more positive note, the confirmed number of recoveries also increase by 1,372, which brings the total number of 4,079,120 recoveries. Meanwhile, another 43 deaths caused by Covid-19 was also recorded, bringing the total casualty of the virus to 143,120. 

The Covid-19 task force official website, Covid19.go.id, informed that there are 4,336 suspected coronavirus cases from 218,399 specimens tested on Thursday, October 21, 2021.
