TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Deputy Head of the Covid-19 Handling Committee, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, compared the spread of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia with several other countries, amid the delta variant outbreak. He said that the increase in cases recently also occurred in other countries.

One of the countries experiencing an increase in cases is the Netherlands. Luhut also mentioned the Dutch Prime Minister, Mark Rutte, who made a public apology on July 12, 2021.
"Because he agreed to take off the mask some time ago and now it's rising exponentially," said Luhut while showing a graph of the increase in Covid-19 cases in the Netherlands.

England topped the list and was followed by the Netherlands, Malaysia and Russia. Then Indonesia, Thailand, the United States, and Israel.
