30 Oxygen Concentrators from Singapore to Arrive in Indonesia Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Pandjaitan announced that 30 oxygen concentrators imported from Singapore will arrive today, July 9. Indonesia has previously purchased 10,000 oxygen concentrators from the city-state.
The minister also said that 36,000 tons of oxygen supply and seven oxygen generators will also be imported within the next 30 days.
“So, the 30 oxygen concentrators, which are part of the 10,000 units the Indonesian government purchased from Singapore, will be sent via air transport. The rest will be shipped through sea transport along with the oxygen,” said Luhut Pandjaitan on July 9.
Indonesia will also receive other medical equipment from the Singaporean government such as 200 ventilators and 256 empty oxygen tanks and personal protection equipment (PPE) ranging from medical face masks, N95 masks, and surgical equipment.
Similar help will also come from other countries including Australia and United Arab Emirates. The Australian government will send 1,000 ventilators, while the UAE will send 250,000 Sinopharm vaccines.
