BMW Astra Perform Covid-19 Vaccination for its Employees

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - BMW Astra is currently enacting its Covid-19 vaccination program for its employees across Greater Jakarta Area (Jabodetabek) under the private vaccination scheme with publicly listed pharmaceutical firm Kimia Farma known as the 'gotong royong' vaccine program.
The company's first vaccination phase is scheduled from May 31st and will last up to June 11, 2021, before the mass vaccination continues to other operational areas outside of Greater Jakarta.
BMW Astra CEO Fredy Handjaja stated in a press release on Thursday, June 3, 2021, said that vaccinating employees has become the company's health priority amidst the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Fredy also expected that employees will be able to provide better services for its customers after the mass vaccination is completed.
"As the first BMW dealer that conducted vaccinations for its workers across all branch offices, we surely hope this will provide a sense of security for our customers," he said on Thursday, June 3, 2021.
The company intends to continue vaccinating its employees from the Greater Jakarta Area to Central Java, East Java, Bali, and Sulawesi. Prior to the vaccination program, BMW Astra had implemented services that adhere to strict health protocols, most notably facilitating test drives to the homes of potential customers, home service facilities, and vehicle appraisal at home.
