Jokowi to Monitor Covid-19 Vaccinations in Maluku Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo is on the second day of a working visit in Ambon City, Maluku. Based on a written statement from the Presidential Secretariat’s Press Bureau, the President will head to Yos Sudarso Harbor to inspect the port that serves the cargo and passenger ships.
At the same location, the President is scheduled to monitor the Covid-19 vaccinations for public officials or the workers at the port. Those who will be vaccinated include employees of state-owned ferry operator PT Pelni, state-owned port operator PT Pelindo, and KSOP (Port Authority).
He will then visit dr. J. Leimena General Hospital in Ambon City to monitor the vaccination for religious figures, educators, and public workers. President will also inaugurate the first central general hospital in the Eastern Indonesia region.
The monitoring of the Covid-19 vaccination program will also be carried out at the residence of Raja Hitu in Central Maluku Regency. At the Huseka’a Hitu Pier near the residence, he will have a dialogue with representatives of fishermen groups, fish sellers, and local market traders.
After the series of work visit agendas, Jokowi and his entourage will return to Jakarta.
