Part of Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road Closed until Friday

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Part of the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road is closed until Friday, March 26, due to routine maintenance for the rigid pavement reconstruction, announced Widiyatmiko Nursejati as the state-run toll road operator Jasa Marga’s General Manager Representative Office 1 of Trans Java toll road.
“Maintenance has been carried out since Sunday evening at 19:00 and the traffic will resume on Friday at 17:00,” said Widiyatmiko in Bekasi on Monday, March 22.
During the repair, lane 2 of the toll road will be temporarily closed, while other lanes operate normally. “All lanes affected by the work are those leading to Cikampek,” he added.
The maintenance work was targeted to improve the road quality and provide ease for road users, as well as meet the minimum service standard (SPM) of the toll road.
Jasa Marga prepared risk mitigation as a precautionary measure of traffic congestion due to the closure, such as diverting traffic, narrowing the work area, and applying a contraflow scheme if necessary.
Jasa Marga offered an apology for the inconvenience caused by the closure of part of the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road. “Road users can access traffic information about toll roads via the official channel of the 24-hour Call Center at 14080,” Widiyatmiko said.
